Dear brother Paul and family: It is plain to see your heart of love for the Lord Jesus and His kingdom. I pray your health, and financial needs will be met and trust the Lord to lead you where He wants you. How the world needs dedicated families like yours in His harvest fields. God bless you. Jack Heppell and family

Pastor Ciniraj,

I have not written to you and First Lady in a couple of years. God has brought me through a storm I would not have come through on my own. I just today read that you resigned your position with SVM as Founder and Director, but not your position as a man after God's own heart. I know that God is bringing you to another level of your faith and needs your full attention. I pray your strength in the Lord and know that God can heal you of physical illness. I thank God for your faithfulness and I pray for God's continued Grace and Mercy on you and your family. I remember how you all were persecuted while serving God and I admire and love all of you for your determination to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ. You are my family by the precious Blood of the Lamb. God Bless you in the name of Jesus Christ.

I concur with James. We should pray, and if we follow what Jesus taught us in Matt 6 and Luke 11, where when he was praying to the father he said "your will be done on earth as it is in heaven" or if we believe what is said in Job 42:2 - "I know that you can do all things; no plan of yours can be thwarted." I've often heard it said that while, yes, "the prayers of a righteous man are powerful and effective" (James 5:16), what is it that a righteous man would pray for? God's will. Just as Jesus himself prayed that God's will be done on earth as it is on heaven.

As Christians, we may want a certain politician because he is more favorable towards Christians or because we support his morals more, but God didn't always give Israel good kings or judges, sometimes they got a bad one so that they would see that they needed God and they would come crawling back to him, it may be God's will that we get the more favorable politician this year, or it may happen that God will send us a politician that will drive the country to it's knees because they see once more the evil that is in this world.

Bless God!

Hi David,

I think the Prince of Peace would say something like this:

Matthew 11:12

From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and forceful men lay hold of it.

The most important thing is relation with God, revival of the people in the world and daily renewal of the Christian through the Holy Spirit and the Word. We do though have the authority of Christ to take ground in this world. I can give you a personal example in my neighborhood. Though evangelism would be the most important thing to do, I also know that God's authority given through prayer has brought peace to our street. On 2 occasions chaos tried to break out permanently on our street. One time with drug dealers, the other with this neighbor who would be banging on the wall at all times of night. In both cases I believed God and marched up and down the street with the Word of God in my hand, believing for a Jericho answer. Both times God answered mightily and restored order and peace completely! Now, we know things will get crazy in the last days, but we don't need to go crazy with it! ;)

Anybody who tells Christians to pray isn't political since God is in control and knows the hearts. If it wasn't for Christians praying for this country from it's foundation, we would of never experience America the way God blessed it in the beginning. I want to pray for the right leaders also. Why settle for somebody who is definitely bent on values that I know are destructive? Nobody is perfect and the other candidate isn't perfect either, but much closer to life values.

God Bless,
James

Hmmm. I wonder what the Prince of Peace -- who asked us to turn the other cheek and even in his last breath asked God to forgive those who crucified him -- would say about someone who asks God to "raise up an army..."

This email definitely sounds like it came from a certain political campaign in order to "use" Christians (yet again) for political purposes. Most likely, this email did NOT originate with a Christian -- it probably originated with a party hack to simply get votes. (I'll say, half jokingly, would YOU want to spend eternity beside someone who has such non-Christian discontent in their soul?)

This happened before in 2000 and 2004, yet WHAT did the Bush administration do for Christians after he used them to get elected? Almost NOTHING, my friends. He ignored the promises he made to Christians, yet kept every promise he made to business interests.

God is in charge, His plan is in effect, and the Truth eventually shines forth from the darkness. Let's not be fooled this time.

A true Christian's world is not of THIS world. ;-)

God bless you all, and may your families be safe in these coming trying times.
