The Long Hard Road

In the course of events that have been taking place in my life I find in necessary to write down the things that I feel about certain situations that play out in my mind. Due to the withdraw as well as the spiritual struggle playing out in my life this is one outlet I am going to use in order to try and make sense of which way is up. I am sharing it with everyone out there that wants to read it and they are more than welcome to comment on it, but for the most part these are feelings written down nothing less and nothing more. 

I have been having these struggles in my mind with the things that Satan won’t let me let go and hand over to God in order for me to be completely saved and free of impurity. Amongst these thoughts I came up with this scenario that I talked to my brother-in-law about and he said it had some merit to it.  

In our life we have sin that either may or may not want to give up in order for the Lord to come in and take over our life. This is for all those who want to give it up, but find it extremely difficult to do so.  

In the business world it sometimes seems that Human Resources protect the bad workers and of a company and it is next to impossible to get rid of them in order to bring in good hard working individuals. I have run into this on a number of occasions and let me tell you; I get just as frustrated as the next person knowing that there are people out there willing to work and do the job compared to those who have the job and don’t want to do the work at all.  

This is how Satan handles sin within our own life as we fight to get rid of the “bad employee” of our mind. Your mind works for you, you don’t work for your mind and if it is full of crap and doesn’t want to think about and concentrate on the things it needs to be concerned with, such as living a Godly life with pure thoughts then it is time to get rid of your current mind set and bring in a new harder working willing to live for the Lord mind set. However Satan tries to stop such things and informs you that due to one situation or the other that you can’t get rid of it because if you were then everyone would know your “secret” and you wouldn’t want that would you? Guess what? You do want that because that is the only way you will be truly able to live guilt free and in the word of the Lord without any hesitation what so ever.  

Satan as we all know is not a good thing to have in our mind, but just because we know it is a bad thing it isn’t all that easy to get rid of. He fights to hold and brings in doubt and anger in order to keep his grasp on you because he wants to make sure he takes as many people down with him as possible before Jesus comes back and takes all those who are true believers to heaven while the rest spend eternal damnation in the fiery pits of hell with the thing that they could not get rid of; Satan. 

I can’t tell you enough how important it is to level with God and bring out all the dirty laundry and hand it over to him. It’s not like God doesn’t know what we do in this world, I mean for crying out loud he is God, he knows all and sees all. It’s just a matter of principle that YOU admit what you did wrong and confess it to God. Now some people will say you haven’t and not believe that you gave it allover to him, but if you in your heart know and God knows then those people, if they are in fact true believers of the word of Christ, will see it and for those that don’t see it then I feel sorry for them. 

This is a series of ramblings that will take place over a long period of time as I grow and walk the path that I should’ve been walking in the first place, but decided not to because I gave into Satan and didn’t want to give it all over to God. I have managed to destroy everything around me including my relationship with the woman whom I love and will continue to love even though we are apart. Am I sorry for what I have done in my life…yes, without a shadow of a doubt I am. Have I given everything over to the Lord, I want to and I try to but Satan is cheating opponent and he’s not giving up easily, but I pray and read the word and I know God will come through, but it will take time…a lot of time.
