Dear Mr. Schwarzenegger

Mr. Schwarzenegger,
You are quoted from the L.A. Times as saying “I never thought I’d live in a state where the legislative branch, the executive branch and the judicial branch are all made irrelevant in a context of protecting a minority’s rights - that’s where we are in California today.”
I believe you have forgotten the role of government: “government of the people, by the people, for the people”
We ARE the government, you are a public servant. You aren’t our morality, You aren’t wiser than the people you govern, nor are the judges. .. and since the the executive and judicial branch do not understand, they needed a “reset” on what the people of California believe. Not everyone believes that homosexuals are a minority, it is a chosen lifestyle. If homosexuals are minorities, so are alcoholics.
Mr. Schwarzenegger, you were elected to change things in California, but nothing has changed since Gray Davis. You are the same as Gray Davis. You have heard the 52% of California voters on this issue. I believe as a Republican, you will hear again from the 52% on your next campaign for re-election.
Sincerely,
James Smith
